Spanish – Greek Wedding in Milos
It is always a great pleasure to receive a request for a destination wedding so I was very excited to hear that Maria and Stelios had decided to book me for their Greek – Spanish Wedding in Milos Island. Although Milos is best known for the Venus de Milo, the infamous ancient statue of the Greek Goddess of love and beauty, most visitors get there for the wide variety of rocky and sandy beaches and for the breathtaking volcanic landscape.
The preparation of the groom took place at his grandmother’s house in Pachena village, a simple, traditional house which seemed to have remained untouched by time. A few kilometers away, the beautiful bride with her friends and family where getting ready and enjoying the last moments before the wedding at Aloni Cave House in Phylacopi, an amazing, recently renovated traditional old cave farmhouse.
Maria And Stelios met at Agios Konstantinos church for their wedding, a place of unparalleled natural beauty which provided the perfect scenery for a very touching ceremony. Such a perfect wedding day was only to be ended with the perfect wedding reception and a crazy party until early in the next morning at Deep Blue beach bar at Paliochori.
Maria and Stelios I can only thank you for trusting me to be your wedding photographer, it was fun, a pleasure and an honor! It will take a long time to forget the beautiful moments we shared at your wedding in Milos and I am looking forward to meeting you again on the island!
